Sleek and reliable, this sonic industrial imager features a 7" (177.8 mm) LCD touchscreen that overlays SoundMap on a visual image for quick leak location identification. Quick and efficient, this imager is ideal for air and vacuum leaks, even during peak production periods in noisy environments.
Leaks in compressed air, gas and vacuum systems hit both production uptime and the operations line. With this sonic industrial imager your maintenance team can quickly pinpoint the location of compressed air and vacuum leaks. With minimal training, your maintenance technicians can begin checking for air leaks during their typical maintenance routine - even during peak operation hours.
This industrial imager offers a way to locate issues using sound, and it is an intuitive, simple to use tool that can isolate the frequency of leaks or vacuums, even in extremely noisy production environments. A leak location is determined by discerning the direction from which a sound originates by the time delays that occur as the sound passes over an array of microphones. A SoundMap™ is displayed in color over a visual image allowing for easy visual location. With the full array of microphones, it is easy to scan a large area and even capture leaks from a distance.

How fast will you find your first leak?
Right out of the box, this imager is ready to use. It's rugged and ergonomic design make it easy to handle and the large 7" LCD display make leaks easy to see. Within minutes, a user with little-to-no experience can start detecting leaks. All the necessary components are built-in and easy to access. In addition, shutting down the plant or putting technicians in harm's way was out of the question, that's why this acoustic imager can be used in noisy environments and from a safe distance.
More than you expected, by far
Communication and reporting tools for everyone
This imager comes enabled with LeakQ mode, which automatically determines the distance to the target (a leak that shows inside the circle on the display). When a leak is detected and the imager can determine the distance, the LeakQ value on the display gives in indication of the size of the leak. The value is based on the measured dB SPL value and the distance.
The LeakQ reporting tool combines the inputs from your industrial acoustic imager with inputs made directly to the tool to create organized and detailed reports. These reports can be used to convey where repairs need to be made, for follow-up post repair to confirm fixes, or for simply documenting the inspection process and results.
How do you see sound?
This industrial acoustic imager visualizes the sounds coming from small leaks in compressed air, gas, and vacuum systems. Equipped with an array of microphones for an expanded field-of-view, this imager enables maintenance teams to locate air, gas, and vacuum leaks quickly and accurately in compressed air systems - even in noisy environments. Specifically designed for noisy production facilities the SoundSight™ technology is simple to learn and easy to implement.
