Getting to know the Onset HOBO Coupler for Pendant Data Loggers


Data loggers can monitor temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, pH, pressure, voltage, current, and pulse making them efficient. Pendant data loggers are very useful for a variety of applications including water, indoor/HVAC, outdoor, agriculture and cold chain monitoring. Changing a battery in something as compact as these pendant data loggers from Onset HOBO can be tricky due to their small size. Luckily, this video is quick and showcases an easy process on how to correctly disassemble the product to replace the battery when it's at the end of its life.

Be sure to ensure that the data logger is reassembled correctly after the battery is changed so that no issues occur when the data logger is put back into operation.
